Awesome video and breakdown of how to get in the right mindset. One question I had for Jerry is what distance he recommends or prefers for sighting in a red dot for competitions.

How to avail warranty

So if you zero your rifle for 200 yards , can the hash marks be utilized for 3-4-5-600 yards ?

So once it is zeroed in at 40...to shoot 20..25..30 do you have to resight it in or do you put the magnification on the FPS in which would be fir my CB 400 FPS? Or do you just leave it at the mag.that you sighted in at 40 yrds? Most shots I shoot are no more than 35 yds...

My first red dot what does each mark movement mean at 10 yards? Inch??

I can change a red dot. I cannot change the Slide Cut. RmR 4 lyfe unless I want to "upgrade" my firearm.

Hi I have the same scope and my Rifle was zeroed than put the top turret back and at zero however my turret will not stop at zero .. I can turn the outer turret either way , up or down .. I have to pay attention to where my turret is when I go up or down , I always need to check incase I need my zero in a hurry .. it will not stop .. any solutions ??? Thx

Red dots are more internet cool kid garbage. Most people I shoot with on the line aren't any better with than they were without, and only got into dots because it's what some no name shmuck they saw on youtube recommended.

Interesting, I've always heard that an advantage of mils is that you can do range estimation, but it sure looks like you can just as easily estimate range with an MOA reticle! What am I missing?

Why 1 moa adjustments? On a 5x that’s odd fellas. Micro red dots have 1/2 moa adjustments…benefit of the doubt but there must be a reason

Jim, I have an Eagle 4-16 x 42mm scope with the vmr-1 reticle. Looks a tad different from the one you are featuring. Would like a tad more info on the one I have. Thanks Jim G.

Long story short, I'm have a 2x prism sight and a 2x flip magnifier. After hundreds of rounds of non zero, I noticed by chance that the mag fier had to be zeroed once you zero the main optic. I had no clue the magnifier had to be zeroed, since it didn't have a reticle.. I assumed the turrets were to adjust the view so it wasn't too hifh/low or left/right compared to the main optic reticle.. A really helpful way to do this is to use a laser boresighter to sight/verify your main optic, then flip the magnifier on and adjust the magnifier so that the laser dot through the magnifier is the in the same position as the dot when looking through the optic only..at least with a prism.

On the Sparc Solar, would love if it would work for someone like me who’s in south Texas and our summers reach into the 100-115 degree range. I believe its operating temp only goes up to like 104~ iirc which is too risky for me to drop money on it even though I really really want it lmao.

Ive hunted lions for yrs.. We dont shoot females..period.. And i wouldn't have shot that tom..see how white sharp n shiny those theeth are...that cat was maybe 3 yrs old.. To young.. U want the old crusty scared up headed toms... Thats all we'll let our clients kill.. During covid we treed 22 and only let 3 ppl harvest.. Never shoot a female. Look at the teeth and head.. Take a mature trophy tom that has lived his life..

Unless you wanna spend the $$$$ for a magnifier that goes rt on and lines up with 1/3 good luck..most lower end brands don't come with a shimmy set..your option is to get a riser and calculate it with the built on riser and try your luck. And even harder is a rifle with carbine length handguard and not much picatinny rail room
